Customers can now create workflows in Slack with a more straightforward user experience, as well as access over 50 new plug-and-play templates that cover typical productivity use cases. Developers now have access to more coding languages and tools, allowing them to design and share unique workflows with their teams.

Slack workflows could only begin with an activity that occurred in Slack or Salesforce. An activity in third-party software, such as PagerDuty, Asana, or Bitbucket, can now trigger a workflow in Slack.
Workflow Builder
Through these Slack AI Capabilities, you can easily create workflows and have access to over 50 new pre-built templates. A new user experience in Process Builder enables users to easily design a process by answering a query, comparable to filling in the blanks in a sentence. With 50 new out-of-the-box workflow templates, customers can easily create automation for basic business processes such as project start-up, survey data collection, and IT ticket creation.
Customizing Workflow
With new Slack AI Capabilities, you can easily customize workflows. When users need to construct a custom process, they can leverage Slack’s open APIs and developer tools. New capabilities in Slack’s developer platform make it easy to create custom steps. Developers may now create and manage custom steps on the Slack app settings page using a new, more user-friendly interface.
